Mary's also well-known for her part in the reality series Storage Wars Texas. Mary is commonly referred to as "The Junkster" or the Junkyard Queen". She collects antiques from auctions, estate sales, and storage locations. Mary was employed at Architectural Digest Magazine under Paige Rense's supervision after she earned her degree in photography. After that, she started her own Mary Finds section. The section featured short videos on the process of decorating and renovating homes. When she moved back to Texas she discovered a location to operate her antiques store and began a new business. A&E Television producer noticed her as she managed her antiques business and invited her to take part in Texas Storage War. The show ran for three seasons. She was cast in the fifth season of Storage Wars because she had gained popularity. Storage Wars was a part of her life throughout subsequent seasons. She was both on and off the show up until the 12th season.
