Also, she hosted It's Showtime during the afternoon (2009-2010) Curtis was born to Carmencita Ojales from Bolinao Pangasinan in Australia and James Ernest Curtis Smith an Australian lawyer, was born on the 25th of July 1970 in Yarrawonga. Her father was married to Ojales who was a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan, in 1982. Her older sister Jasmine was also an actor. Clare was diagnosed with a heart condition in 2007, she was barely four months old.
