Berenice Marlohe

Berenice Lim Marlohe has been an French actor for more than 20 years. Her most famous role is as the antagonist of Bond Girl Severine who is in Skyfall. Her television credits include Pere et Maire Femmes de loi, and Equipe medicale d'urgence. She was a part of the French comedy Un joy n'arrive ever alone, alongside Sophie Marceau although not appearing in the credits. She is also an Omega Watches brand ambassador. Berenice who is French Chinese descent and Cambodian descent, was born on 19 May 1979, in Paris France. Born into a French-speaking middle-class family, Berenice was raised by her Chinese father as well as her Cambodian mother. Her father is a physician and her mother was teaching. She fell in love the arts while growing up living in Paris and spent her entire growing up painting and playing the piano. Painting and music are two of her greatest desires. They have dominated her life and career. After attending a course by Jack Waltzer. The workshop was a hit and acting became her new obsession. After discovering her passion the art of acting, she spent 10 years studying at the prestigious Conservatory in Paris. As soon as she was from university She began auditioning for film roles. Her debut film The Discordance (2007) came shortly following. At the beginning in her professional career, she was having difficulty securing roles which would strengthen her character. The presence of the character in films was influential. Inexperience was the main factor in her being turned down by many of the most prestigious producers and film agents.
